ABOUT THE FILMMAKER

Steve Markle wrote and directed the Gemini Award winning documentary Camp Hollywood about struggling performers living at a Los Angeles fleabag. Camp Hollywood premiered on the Sundance Channel and currently streams on Amazon Prime.

Markle starred in the reality series You’ve Got A Friend on MTV and the comedy series Testees on FX. 

Shoot To Marry was produced, written, shot, directed and edited by Steve Markle – virtually a one-person crew over a five year period. Shoot To Marry won the Audience Award at the Slamdance Film Festival 2020 and Best Feature at the Canadian Film Festival 2020.
